Welcome to Gourmet Gastronome! My journey into the world of fine dining and culinary craftmanship began in my mothers kitchen many years ago. Growing up, I found solace and joy cooking with my mom as she showed me different ways to experiment with flavors, and perfecting recipes handed down through generations. Growing up, I had always dreamed of owning my own restaurant, and now my wish has come true! Born and raised in Perry County, Pennsylvania, I wanted to create a restaurant that felt like home away from home. The hustle and bustle that goes along with the City of Harrisburg made me feel like it would be the best place to grow roots into a restaurant right beside the river, nestled in a quaint neighborhood. With the peaceful sounds of the Susquehanna and our beautiful dinning area, we designed Gourmet Gastronome to be elegant yet inviting; a perfect place for everyone! With our hand-picked chefs and our wonderful dining staff, we came together to creating more than just a dining experience, but a memorable time with your friends and family that linger long after the last bite has been savored!
